questions on tuners for my Denail

As the title states. I know many of you have had your hands on many different styles of tuners. What's the best bang for the buck when it comes to these? I don't plan to do heavy modifications to my truck. Mainly just a new air intake and maybe a cat back exhaust. Main thing I want is a little more HP and MPG possibly. Also, is it wise to buy a used one??? I see many people selling them around places. Thanks

I have to agreee with the above posters so far, I tuned my ECM myself and while it was better than the stock tune, BB's tune has been almost a night and day difference in my tune.

They are worth it, plus they can touch up the tune down the road if add on any other power adders.

Is it really all that??? I don't plan to do any super charging or anything much other than a CAI. I may swap out the exhaust but I really doubt it. I know when I added a power programmer to my 2010 CAN AM Outlander it really woke it up a bunch.

A truck is a lot different though. This is tailored to YOU and YOUR TRUCK and how YOU drive. For example mine is done. It is perfect for me. If anyone else drives it like my brother or my mother, I grt comments on how the throttle is too sensitive and the like. But it is tailored to how I drive
